Singapore is the world’s busiest container transhipment hub. We are connected to more than 600 ports in over 120 countries, and services more than 140,000 vessels annually. With our worldwide connectivity, businesses can be assured that their goods can be transported quickly and efficiently anywhere in the world.
We strive to serve the shipping industry through greater value-added services. For example, our statutory board - the
Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore - launched the wireless WiMax access services in 2008 for easy internet access for ships up to 15km from Singapore’s southern shoreline, the first seaport in the world to do so. As a top bunkering port, we adhere to the highest bunkering standards, giving assurance of quality to our customers who lift bunkers here. A wide range of marine services from pilotage and towage, to ship supplies and slop disposal are also available here.

We constantly upgrade our port infrastructure to meet future demands. Our state-of-the-art Port Operations Control Centers ensures smooth vessel traffic in our busy port. Our Pasir Panjang Terminal is a new-generation container terminal equipped with the latest high-tech facilities such as the Super Post-Panamax quay cranes and the remote controlled bridge cranes to efficiently handle mega-container ships of 11,000 TEUs and beyond.
